Guided Fishing Trips

Calico Rock Trout Dock

Calico Rock Trout Dock offers full and half day fishing guide services on the Arkansas White River with boat and motor rental, kayak rental, shore lunches, and boat rides through the professional fishing guide service. Shore Lunches can be arranged when you book your fishing trip. Fresh fried trout, fried potatoes, fresh salad and fruit (in season) await you on your shore lunch. Boat and motor rentals include gas, chairs, life jackets, and paddles. Located just south of the bridge.

Jenkins's Fishing Service at

In operation since 1958, Jenkins's Fishing Service provides single day float trips that include a boat and motor with guide, chairs and cushions, jackets, landing nets, shore lunch for the party and guide, ice chest, soft drinks, and a water jug. The group leaves the dock in the morning and returns in the afternoon, typically traveling a total of 10 to 12 miles during the trip. All fish are cleaned and bagged by the guide. Their trout fishing trips do not exceed a total of three guests, plus one guide.

Lindsey's Trout Dock 

Lindsey's Trout Dock is owned by Jim and Gloria Lindsey. They've worked hard to make a solid business and, over the years have added space onto the dock and added several new boats and motors to their inventory. The dock stays open most of the year and boats are always available in the off-season on request. They have several experienced guides available for full or half-day fishing trips. The boat dock is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. All boats must be in by 5:00 p.m. Half-day fishing trips are from 7:00 a.m. to noon or noon to 5:00 p.m.

Mountain Trail Rides & Petting Zoo

OK Trading Post offers pony rides 7 days a week April-October (by reservation November-March) starting at $12 for a half hour. The "petting zoo" is free and filled with typical farm animals plus rabbits and a lame deer. Young children love it.

Calico Rock Downtown & Museum

The downtown area of Calico Rock features several neat antique stores and a couple of good eating places too. Grab a burger at Between the Buns or sit down for a special treat at the Printing Press Cafe . Take in a little local history at the Calico Rock Museum and be sure to buy a handmade item from a local artisan.

Ozark Folk Center State Park

Ozark Folk Center State Park is located in Mountain View, Arkansas which is only 23 miles South of Calico Rock.  The park is dedicated to perpetuating the music, crafts, and culture of the Ozarks.
